The Schedule

Our weekend will be a mix of self care classes, business care classes, and rebooting time with other creative women!  We will also be exploring "Savoring through the Senses" ~ increasing our daily gratitude by increasing our body's awareness.

Q. Who is a good fit for this weekend workshop?

A.  Any woman who would like to spend time re-booting herself and her business is a great fit!  We have a few classes that are geared towards photography, but we can tailor these classes to your specific needs if you're not a photographer.  :)  

Q. What should I bring?

A. Comfy clothes for classes; nice, but casual clothes for our outing on Sunday; weather appropriate shoes; a yoga mat, if you'd like to do some yoga; a laptop; personal items for sleep, getting ready, etc... optional: a camera and gear.  

*Journals for note-taking and supplies for the "Book of Happy" will be provided.

Q. Will we be taking pictures during this workshop?

A. Not officially.  The emphasis for this weekend is more on re-booting.  However, you may want your camera to document the experience!

Q. Will the classes be lecture-style or more participation based?

A. The classes will have some instruction time, but we'll also have time for discussions and working on our objectives.

Q. How many people will be attending?

A. The workshop will be kept small and intimate.  We expect 12 or fewer ladies to join us.

Q.  I'm coming alone.  Should I be nervous?

A.  It's perfectly normal to be nervous in a new situation, but this workshop will be full of welcoming warmth.   Kim loves people, thrives on connection and is intentionally creating an atmosphere of inclusion.  No nerves needed.

Q. I like downtime, will there be opportunities for me to unwind?

A. Yes. The schedule has a few breaks and long meal times so that attendees who need a little me-time can relax throughout the day.

Q. Do you offer refunds if I sign up but can't make it?

A.  No, we're sorry, refunds are not available, however you may sell or give your spot to another woman so that she might attend in your place.  The seats are transferable. 

Q.  Is transportation provided?  

A.  Transportation to and from the workshop is not provided.

Q. Will there be food?

A. Kim can't go more than a few hours without food, so yes, we will have some food to share! If you would like to join us, you may! If you would prefer to prepare your own or eat out there is ample time for that as well. Our cottage has a fully equipped (and adorable) kitchen.

On Friday, we will have soup and salad waiting for you. Each day we will have a continental breakfast laid out. On Saturday and Sunday, a light lunch will be available. Saturday dinner is open for attendees to explore Lancaster or order in. And on Sunday afternoon, we will go to Seasons of Lancaster for a tasting party!  *No additional payment is needed if you join us for meals.  :) 

Q. Where should I stay?

A. We have extra beds in our cottage. If you would like to stay with us you may! Beds will be assigned on a first come (aka first to sign up), first serve basis. Some beds are singles and some are doubles. Air mattresses are also welcome. If you would prefer to go home at night or make other lodging arrangements that's OK, too!

Q. When will the 30-minute massages take place?

A. We will schedule your massage with Jessica when you sign up for the workshop. Massages may take place in the mornings, evenings, and during select meal times. *You may choose a chair or table massage.  The 30 minute massages are included with your fee.  No additional payment is required unless you would like to book Jess for more than 30 minutes!
